The IPTC maintains a public discussion group to move the standard forward, and to keep users and maintainers of the standard in touch with one another.

The rNews Forum is used to recommend and discuss changes to the rNews standard. It also connects publishers who use rNews and vendors who create tools to help creating and processing rNews mark-up.
